Hey Shelly: It was soooo good to hear from you again. I certainly remember. Had some PC issues a while ago and lost a lot of my contacts. Thank goodness my genealogy work was backed up! I really am not sure if Aunt Stella is still alive or not. I have hunted and hunted but, unfortunately, don't have any good contacts on that side of the family. If she should still be with us, she would be 100 on 3/26/2012!!! I remember our conversations about your meeting her. Did Aunt Stella, by any chance tell you anything about her grandparents on either side, especially grandpa Tom? I have a lot of "hearsay" but not much concrete. My understanding is that his mother, Mahalia, had two sons by Willis Brewer, her sisters widowed husband but haven't been able to find out much else past that. I do have a little more on Grandma Trent's family (Laura Parks) but not a lot. Would love to hear from you again. My grandfather was Laura's brother Cleveland. Can you tell me if Stella is still living or when she passed away? I know if she is still living she is really up there in age. I got to meet her and visit with her once and it was really neat. She told me a lot of stuff. >________________________________ > From: Debbie Keene <dkeene@fuse.net> >To: 'Wanda Shepherd' <shepherd_wanda@yahoo.com>; kywolfe@rootsweb.com >Sent: Monday, February 20, 2012 7:46 PM >Subject: Re: [KYWOLFE] Green berry Brewer > >Wanda: > >I believe Isom was my great-great grandfather; Willis my gr-grandfather and >Thomas my grandfather (mother Mahalia Trent, sister to Willis' first wife >Lucinda). Ms. Keene, I don’t recall seeing an obituary for Stella. I believe she still has a daughter living here. If it would help, I can e-mail you privately with her phone number. I found her name in my Trent data notes taken a number of years back. I descend from Henry and Charity’s John Wesley Trent and Armina Miller. . Dr. Bill Rice
