    2. Jo Spencer
    3. I am putting together a written report regarding some of the Spencer branches in Wolfe, Powell, and Menifee; including census records. I offer substantial evidence that Delilah, wife of Elijah, was the daughter of Moses Spencer and Elizabeth Deaton; and therefore Elijah's 1st cousin once removed. My Spencer lines; My mother, Dora Drake, d/o Thurman Drake and Ila Spencer. Thurman s/o Alexander Drake and Candus Spencer, d/o James Captain Spencer and Mary Polly Robbins, s/o William Spencer and Nancy Caudill, s/o James Spencer and Farabe (who I believe to be Cherokee) s/o John Spencer and Joanna Pennington, s/o Joseph and Mary of Lee Co, VA. Ila d/o Nathaniel Spencer and Dora Johnson, s/o William (Williamson) Spencer and Catherine Wyatt, s/o (no one has this one figured out but he was no-doubt a part of the Spencer families of Lee Co, VA) Dora Johnson d/o John Johnson and Isabelle Spencer, d/o William T Spencer and Jamima (I don't yet know who she was) s/o Moses Spencer and Elizabeth Deaton.
