    3. I don't believe in Grassman either, lol. Grandma and grandpa lived in Hazel Green after they were  married. But-they loved to play tricks on one another. That was their entertainment. I'll bet the stories came from that, then were exacerbated over the years. So, I don't believe it. Also, my uncle in Tn. has told me many stories about roaming the woods, hunting, when he grew up in Wolfe Co. He grew up there, and surely would have heard the stories. So, I don't believe them and think nobody else should either. It just can't be true or more people would have heard of it. ________________________________ From: "LyndaCGKyCol@aol.com" <LyndaCGKyCol@aol.com> To: kywolfe@rootsweb.com Sent: Monday, June 24, 2013 3:28 PM Subject: [KYWOLFE] Fwd: Mountain Monsters Wanda, here is my original post (BELOW) about  it..........nest week they're investigating a "grassman" I think  LOL   ____________________________________ From: LyndaCGKyCol@aol.com To: kywolfe@rootsweb.com Sent: 6/23/2013  9:23:02 P.M. They were investigating stories of  a creature they called a "Wolfman" in Wolfe County, Ky.  They said it was  a 7 foot tall wolf like creature that could walk on it's hind  leqgs. Just wondering if any of you locals (like Carol) has heard  of it. 3. My g-grandma was 6' tall. One day, she dressed in her son's clothes and walked to Dave Dalton's place. His wife knew about it and had let her know when they'd be gone. As she had a bad heart, she was in on the joke. Dave was a nervous little fellow, lol. Mahala was Green Brewer's wife. Anyway she put on a long over coat and went in and lay down on their couch, pretenting to be asleep. When the Dalton's returned, The wife hung back a little, as she knew he'd flip out. He opened the door, walked in, then seen my g-grandma. He thought she was a drunk that had wondered in and he started shaking, scared to death, lol. After he found out it was Mahala, he swore to get even with my grandpa, saying he had put her up to it. His wife had her hand over her mouth, trying not to laugh. I loved that story.
