POPLIN, Barbara Jean age 62, of Middletown, died Sunday, December 23, 2012 at her home surrounded by loving family. She was born December 19, 1950 in Middletown, Ohio, the daughter of James Isaac Brown of Wolfe County, KY and Katholeen Ola (Shelton) Brown of Peebles County, OH. She is survived by her husband Bruce Poplin; two sons Brian Poplin of Springboro, Ohio and Britton Poplin of Cincinnati, Ohio; 4 grandsons. Isaac, Evan, Britton and Ian; her mother Katholeen of Middletown; her sister, Avondelee LaFrance of Porter, Texas and her brother, James Brown of Middletown. She was preceded in death by her father. She is a 1969 graduate of Trenton High School and retired from Fifth Third Bank. There will be a memorial service for Barb 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 26 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 209 North Miami, Trenton, Ohio. Published in The Middletown Journal on December 24, 2012
