Following up on my announcement of several months ago, it is my pleasure to let the list-members know that I will be going to Utica, Kentucky about the middle of next week to pick up the republication of Volume I - The Early and Modern History of Wolfe County. You may recall that the original Volume I was published in 1957 with an extended section added in the 1982 republication of the book. This special 50th anniversary Wolfe County Woman's Club republication has been completely reformatted and retyped with a larger, modern typeface and contemporary formatting. We have included many interesting illustrations in the book and added a 127 page Name Index. The 577-page book has durable hardback medium green covers that are embossed with Gold dye. This attractive book can be handed down, and used, for many generations. The book is being offered to the KYWolfe List first because of the important support the Club has received from you over the years. Anyone wishing to order a book can e-mail me at [email protected] for instructions. Please do not reply or respond to the List. I stress that we only ordered 100 reprints.
