Wm. Washington Swango was born March 11, 1861 in Wolfe Co., KY and died June 14, 1919. Telitha was his second wife, but I have one child, Ray, from his first marriage, but there may have been more. William was the son of Stephen Swango who was the son of George Washington Swango--etc. William taught school in Morgan and Wolfe County, but he was also a general merchant, livestock trader, and farmer. He is buried "on farm in Wolfe County where he was born and reared" according to THE SWANGO FAMILY: 2002. This would probably be his father Stephen's farm, but I don't know where that is. There were so many Swangos and several Swango cemeteries. Bess
