Raymond Combs, age 81, a resident of Salyersville, KY passed away April 13, 2007 at the V.A. Medical Center in Huntington, WV. Raymond was born Feb. 24, 1926 in Magoffin County, KY a son of the late Minus Combs and Christina Risner Combs. Survivors include his wife, Ritter Blanton Combs; one daughter, Kathy Porter of Salyersville, KY; one sister, Opal Irene Helton of Salyersville, KY: three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, one brother, John Combs, and one sister, Frieda Mae Combs preceded Raymond in death. Burial in the Combs & May cemetery in Salyersville, KY with arrangements in care of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
