You are correct, Rachel Rose was given to her grandmother, Elizabeth Jett, who was living with her daughter and son-in-law, Martha (Jett) and Jesse Spicer after Rachel (Jett) Rose died. She was later given back to her father when he married Phoebe. I'm inclined to agree the date of death of Rachel (Jett) Rose might be in question. Seems like a lot of misinformation is carved on gravestones. It's a shame that "carved in stone" doesn't mean it's accurate! :-) Thanks again!
