Wolfe County News - Aug. 1, 1969 GOFF ROSE DIES JULY 17 Goff Rose, son of Jeff and Verna Bryant Rose, died 8:10 a.m. Thursday, July 17, at the University Hospital in Lexingotn, after a long illness. He was a native of Wolfe County. Other survivors besides his parents include one brother, Jeff Rose, Jr., at home; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Belle Terrill, Campton and Miss Shirley Kaye Rose and Miss Mattie Mae Rose both at home and his paternal grandparents, Blaine Rose and Nannie Hollon. Funeral services were conducted 1:00 p.m. Sunday, July 20, at the Bethany Church at Bethany by he Rev. Doyle Thomas. Burial was in the Hollon Cemetery on Stillwater. Arrangements were under the direction of the Porter and Son Funeral Home, Campton. Carole
