Wolfe County News - Oct. 21, 1964 WOLFE NATIVE DIES IN W. VA Mrs. Nancy Spencer Reynolds, native of Wolfe County died Sept. 22 at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Eunice Holbrook, Kenova, West Va., she was born October 18, 1888 at Mullins Point, Wolfe County Kentucky. She was a member of the Church of God. She was married to James Reynolds and to this union were born eight children of which five were daughters, Mrs. Eunice Holbrook, Mrs. Malverie Brandon, Mrs. Inez Hatton, Mrs. Reva Caudill, all of Kenova, West Virginia and Mrs. Mary Napier, Campton. Three sons, Nevel Reynolds, Kenova, West Virginia; James Reynolds, Jr., and Maryin Reynolds also of Kenova. Two sisters: Mrs. Bell Deaton, Mullins Point and Mrs. Liz- two brothers, Mort Spencer and Jodie Spencer of Michigan, and a host of other relatives and friends survive to mourn her loss. Six of her grandsons were paul bearers; the four sons of Nevel Reynolds, namely: Jimmy, Merle, Nevel Jr., and Donnie Reynolds also Johnnie Holbrook and Billy Caudill. Burial was in the family cemetery on Friday, Sept. 25 at Mullins Point, Wolfe County. Rollins Funeral Home, Kenova, West Virginia was in charge of funeral and burial arrangements.
