Wolfe County News -- July 1969 MRS. BELLE CABLE DIES Mrs. Belle Taylor Cable, 73, was found dead at her home at Campton, Saturday, July 12. She had apparently suffered a heart attack. She was a retired school teacher and a native of Wolfe County and was a member of the Landsaw Church of Christ. Survivors are two sons, Merle Cable, Woodbrige, N.J., and Rex Cable, Baltimore, Md.; one daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Nell Ballard, Lancaster; one brother, Willie Taylor of Campton; three sisters, Mrs. Barsha Hanks, Campton and Mrs. Jenny Byrd, and Mrs. Mable Trent of Middletown, Ohio and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Methodist Church at Campton with Rev. Ben Cain, Rev. Doyle Thomas and Rev. Earl Goins officiating. Nephews were pallbearers. Burial was at Evans Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Carole
