    3. Wolfe County News - Aug. 1968 LUTHER NICKELL DIES AUG. 17 Luther Nickell, 55, of Daysboro died Saturday, Aug. 17 at 1:30 p.m. at University Medical Center, Lexington, after suffering a stroke. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jim Mize Nickell. A native of Morgan County, he was born at Grassy Creek. He is survived by his wife, Ora Lee Brewer Nickell, Daysboro; six daughters, Mrs. Betty Jo Evans of Ezel, Mrs. Avonell Taulbee of Florida, Mrs. Shirley Jean Craft of Chicago, Mrs. Janet Miller of Harrison, Ohio, Mrs. Elaine Wilson of Gillmore, and Miss Linda Carol Nickell of Daysboro, and five sisters, Rachael Haney of Jeffersonville, Okie Nickell of Daysboro, Hazel Brewer of Florida, and Martha Smith of Hamilton, Ohio and Nancy Sebastian of Cannel City, and two brothers, Hershell Nickell of Hamilton, Ohio and Seldon Nickell of Dawson Springs and 11 grandchildren. Funeral was conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Daysboro Church of Christ by Wardie Craft and Willie Taylor. Burial was in the Hazel Green Cemetery under the direction of Herald and Stewart Funeral Home. Carole
