Wolfe County News - April 25, 1969 MRS. HALSEY, 67 OF POMEROYTON, DIES SATURDAY Mrs. Pearl Jane Halsey, 67, of Pomeroyton died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in Allen Rest Home, West Liberty. A native of Wolfe County, she was a member of the Pomeroyton Union Church. Born Oct. 11, 1901, she was a daughter of the late Lee and Damie Brown Spencer of Wolfe County. Surviving are the husband, Dudley Halsey; a son, Denzil Halsey of Route 1, Jeffersonville, Ky., and a daughter, Mrs. Inez Bailey of Dayton, Ohio. Funeral was conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Pomeroyton Union Church by Rev. Glenn Lawson. Burial was in the Catron Cemetery at Pomeroyton. Potter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Carole
