Wolfe County News - Nov. 14, 1980 Mrs. Combs of Texas passes Nov. 6 Beatrice Carmon Combs, 52 of Bay Town, Texas, died Nov. 6. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors are her husband, Howard Combs of Bay Town, Texas; one son Howard, Jr. Clarksville, Ohio, four brothers, Raymond Bryant, Rogers, Clyde Bryant, Dayton, Ohio; Nicholas Bryant, Indianapolis, Indiana; Nelson Bryant, Indianapolis, Indiana; four sisters, Nannie Chapman, Cincinnati, Ohio, Madge Coomer, Stanton, Ky, Ester Hubbard, West Chester, Ohio; Ila Brooks, Middletown, Ohio; two grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Rogers Baptist Church with Rev. Norman Meadows officiating. Burial was in the family cemetery at Rogers. Shackelford Funeral Home was in charge of arrangments. Carole Beatrice was my mother's first cousin, but I never heard my family ever mention her name. Wolfe County Marriages Cpl.
