Wolfe County News - Dec. 13, 1968 H.C. RICE, 69, OF HAZEL GREEN DIES H.C. Rice, 69, a retired farmer of near Hazel Green, died in the Dry Ridge Convalescent Home at Covington, Kentucky, Wednesday morning at 2:30 a.m. of a heart attack. He had entered the convalescent home only the day before. Mr. Rice was born in the Blackwater section of Morgan County, a son of George and Florence Anderson Rice. Surviving are two sons, Rex Rice of Bowling Green, Ohio, and William Rice of Frankfort, Ky., and one sister, Mrs. Pearl Hale of Vandalia, Ohio. Funeral Friday at 10 a.m. at the Laurel Baptist Church in Wolfe County with Rev. William Taylor officiating and burial in the Edwards Cemetery nearby. The body is at Herald & Stewart Funeral Home in West Liberty. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday. Carole
