    3. No obits this morning, no electric till noon, hope where ever you are, you are safe and warm. We have a little of the nasty white stuff with some ice along with it. UGH! Wolfe County News - Feb. 5, 1964 JOHN CRAIN DIES OF LONG ILLNESS John B. Crain, 73, of Trent, died at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, at his home after a long illness. A retired farmer, he was a native of Wolfe County and a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Eula Dennis, Peru, Ind., and Mrs. Barbara Edwards of Clay City, and a son, Robert Crain, Trent. Services were conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Providence Baptist Church by Rev. Herschel Halsey. Burial was in the Spradlin Cemetery at Toliver. The Herald and Stewart Funeral Home was in charge. Carole
