    3. Wolfe County News - Jan. 2, 1976 MR. PHILLIPS OF LEE CITY PASSES Jahile Phillips, 90, of Lee City, husband of the former Addie Rose, died at 11:05 p.m. Tuesday, December 2, at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, after an illness of several months. He was a native of Wolfe County, a retired farmer and blacksmith, a member of the Church of Christ. He was the son of the late Jahile Phillips, Sr. and the former Mollie Combs. Other survivors besides his wife include one son, Clifford Phillips, Lee City; four daughters, Mrs. Blanch Smith of Mt. Sterling, Mrs. Beatrice Maciag, of Route 1 Campton, Mrs. Maxine Clay of Morehead, and Mrs. Cozette Corbett of Wallingford, Conn.; 16 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5 at the Lee City Missioni Church with Rev. Green Ratliff and Rev. Mike Frisby officiating. Burial was in the Hazel Green Cemetery, with the Porter and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Carole
