Wolfe County News - June 6, 1969 WOLFE NATIVE DIES IN OHIO Sam Swango, 66, died at his home at Middletown, Ohio, May 26 after a short illness. He was a native of Wolfe County. Survivors are two sisters, Mary Jane Swango, Middletown, O., and Mrs. Ellen Kincaid, Clay City; an uncle, Steve Swango. Several nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held May 29 at 10 a.m. at the McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home, Middletown, and the body was brought to the Porter and Son Funeral Home, Campton, where funeral services were held at 2 p.m., May 30 by the Rev. Omer Spencer. Burial was in the Swango Cemetery near Campton . Out of county relatives who attended the funeral were Mrs. Katherine Ortman and Mrs. Wilber Ortman, Dayton, Ohio, Mr. and Mrs. Winford Kincaid, of Michigan and Mrs. Pearl Olanger, sons and daughter of Lexington.
