Wolfe County News - Jan. 8, 1964 FRED ROSE, 70, DIES SUDDENLY Fred Rose, 70 died at 11:30 Friday, Jan. 3 at his home in Lee City. He was a native of Wolfe County and was a member of the Christian Church. Surviving are his wife, Maggie Rudd Rose; one son, Charles Rose of Washington; seven daughters, Violet Holbrook of Dayton, Ohio, Kathleen Burrough of Tennessee, Jo Ann May of Hazel Green, Daisy Hewitt and Barbara Frances of Forida, Phyllis Fox of Louisville, and Judy Human of Morehead. Also surviving are three brothers, Bruce Rose of Helechawa, South Rose of Beattyville, and Henry Clay Rose of Indiana, 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5 at Lee City Mission Church with Rev. Green Ratliff, officiating with burial in Hazel Green Cemetery. Porter and Son Funeral Home was in charge. Carole
