Wolfe County News - Sept. 16, 1964 WOLFE NATIVE CLAIMED 13TH Silas Ratliff, 86, died at the Winchester Nursing Home Sunday, Sept. 13th. He was a native of Wolfe County and a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by two sons, Lewis Ratlif of Eldorado, Ohio and Johnny Ratliff of Winchester; also two daughters, Mrs. Rebecca Dalton of Charleston, Ill, and Mrs. Emma Profitt of Hazel Green, numerous grandchildren and one great grandchild. Services were conducted in Childers Chapel on Lacy Creek at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, with Rev. John Miller officiating. Burial was in the Carson cemetery with Porter and Son Funeral Home in charge.
