    3. Wolfe County News - Oct. 30, 1969 JOHN TOM HALL OF HAZEL GREEN PASSES OCT. 11 John Tom Hall, 68, of Hazel Green died at 10:20 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Lexington. A Wolfe County native, he was a retired coal miner and farmer and was a member of the Church of God. Born Sept. 4, 1901, he was a son of the late John W. and Anna Mae Taulbee Hall. Surviving are the wife, Mrs. Goldie Nickell Hall; seven daughters, Mrs. Ethel Moore, Mrs. Elsie Combs, Mrs. Oneida Nickell, Mrs Sue Chaney and Mrs. Jestlee Buschor, all of Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. Betty King of Caney, and Mrs. Marie Richardson of Louisville; three sons, E.T. Hall of Dayton, Ohio, O'Dell Hall of Middletown, Ohio, and Seldon Earl Hall with the armed forces in Germany; three sisters, Mrs. Ellen Patrick of Winchester, Mrs. Rosa Keith of Xenia, OHio, and Mrs Minnie Dunn of Monroe, Ohio; four brothers, Sam Hall of Gilmore, Arnold Hall of Hazel Green, Ronnie Hall of Centerville, Ohio, and Andrew Hall of Dayton, Ohio; 27 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral was conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 27, at the Amyx Church at Helechawa by Rev. C.L. Thompson and Rev. Bee May. Burial was in the Hazel Green Cemetery, Herald and Stewart Funeral Home in charge. Carole
