Wolfe County News - Jan. 1968 THOMAS D. LEE PASSES DEC. 28 Thomas D. Lee, 55 of Stanton, died at 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, in the University Medical Center, Lexington, after a long illness. He was a native of Lee County and a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Goldie Marie Lee; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Earl Patton of Campton; two stepsons, Troy Gibson of Lexington and Staff Sgt. Bing Gibson, with the U.S. Air Force in Thailand; two brothers, Noah and Ernest Lee, Lexington; four sisters, Mrs. Sallie Combs of Morrow, Ohio, Mrs. Callie Ewen of Richmond, Ind., Heddie Chapman of Lexington, and Mrs. Essie Roberts of Clay City. Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Campton Baptist Church by Rev. Ray Cummins. Burial in the Evans Cemetery. Carole Note: I may be wrong, but I think there was another step-son, Tommy Gibson. Wonder if they made a mistake and the Troy should be Tommy?
