Found another obit of John N. Hurst, with more information. Wolfe County News - 1966 John N. Hurst, of Route 1 Campton, succumbed to a heart condition at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lexington, July 23, 1966. He was an active member of the Wilhurst Primitive Baptist Church in Breathitt County. Born in Breathitt County in 1877, he was the son of the late Samuel Henry and Charity Hollon Hurst and a brother of the late Dr. Taylor Hurst of Hazard. He spent much of his early life in Breathitt County, where he was a school teacher and merchant. At the time of his death he was a retired farmer in Wolfe County. He was married to the late Molly Kelly of Knott County. To this union was born four children all of whom are surviving. They are Foster Hurst, Campton, John Kelly Hurst, Holton, Indiana; Mrs. Glen Lacy, Grassy Creek and G.T. Hurst of Campton. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. C.B. Amyx, Mission, Texas, and Mrs. Steve Tutt, West Point, Kentucky, twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services were held at 10:30 Tuesday, July 26 at Mudlick Baptist Church at Simpson. Burial in the family cemetery with Porter and Son Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Carole
