Wolfe County News - Nov. 1967 WILLIS CARROLL DIES AT LEECO Willis Carroll, 41, of Leeco died unexpectedly of a heart attack at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14 at a local doctor's office. He was a native of Wolfe County and was employed by the Petroleum Exploration Oil Co. He was a member of the Church of God. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Jewell Carroll; two sons, David Ray Carroll of Paintsville and Kenneth Wayne Carroll, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Glenda Jones of Lexington; his mother, Mrs. Ida Carroll, Leeco; four sisters, Mrs. Mattie Moore of Covington, Mrs. Annie Niblick of Newport, Mrs. Grace Legg of Jeffersonville, Ind., and Mrs. Maude Welter of Mt. Vernon, Ind., seven brothers, Alfred Carroll of Irvine, Courtney Carroll of Ashland, Ohio, Kenneth Carroll of Middletown, Ohio, Luther and Clarence Carroll of Newport, Homer Carroll of Zachariah, and Wallace Carroll of the U.S. Army in Texas. Services Friday t 1:30 p.m. at the Torrent Church of God by Rev. James Clark and Rev. Grayden Fike. Burial with Masonic rites in the Carroll Cemetery with Porter and Son Funeral Home in charge. Carole
