Wolfe County News - January 1964 CLENNIE KING DIES DEC. 24 Clennie King, a beloved brother and father, died dec. 24. Born May 31, 1921, he was a veteran of World War II and served in the South Pacific. He was a sincere Christian and attended the First Church of God, Campton. Survivors are one son, Clennie Ray, Jr.; two daughters, Elizabeth Rose and Eleanor Irene King, all of Hazel Green; and seven brothers: Vernal and Reece King, Campton, Lando King, Mary, Glen King, Milwaukee, Wis., Hurst King, Lexingotn, Estill King, Dayton, Ohio and Lawrence King, Lebanon, Ohio; also two sisters, Mrs. Carlie Banks, Vortex, and Mrs. Irene Hollon, Mt. Sterling, two aunts, five uncles 10 nieces and 16 nephews and many other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral conducted Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. at the First Church od God, Campton, with Rev. Ethan Duff officiating. Burial in the Evans Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Home in Charge of arrangements. Carole
