    3. Wolfe County News - April 4, 1969 JESSE DAY KASH OF WINCHESTER DIES APRIL 2ND Jesse Day Kash, Sr., 76, died unexpectedly at 3 p.m. Wednesday at his home in Winchester. A native of Hazel Green, Wolfe County, he was a retired attorney, and former County Attorney of Clark County. He was a member of the First Methodist Church, Winchester, a Mason and past eminent commander of Knights Templar and past high priest of Royal Arch Masons No. 12. He was a graduate of Hazel Green Academy, and the University of Virginia Law School, and had been a member of the Kentucky Bar Association for more than 50 years. He was trial attorney for the Federal Trade Commission for 17 years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Smith Kash; four daughters, Mrs. Floyd Day, Mrs. Nancye Reed, Mrs. Helen K. Thomas, and Mrs. Virgil Puckett, all of Winchester; a son, Jesse D. Kash, Jr., of Clark County; two sisters, Mrs. Rowena Combs of West Liberty and Mrs. Lee Reed of Saginaw, Mich., 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral at 10 a.m. Saturday at Scobee Funeral Home, Winchester with Rev. Howard Whitaker officiating. Burial in the Winchester Cemetery. Carole
