Wolfe County News - Aug. 25, 1965 MRS. DAVIS, 58 HEART VICTIM Mrs. Emily Davis, 58, wife of Elijah Lee Davis, Rt. 1, Campton, died at 9:45 p.m. Saturday at her home after a heart attack. She was a member of the Baptist Church and a native of Wolfe County Other survivors are six daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Hollon and Mrs. Ruby English of Middletown, Ohio, Mrs. Anna McDermott, Ft. Campbell, Mrs. Marie Kirx of Laurel, Miss, Miss Martha Davis and Miss Patricia Davis, Wolfe County; a son, John Clay Davis of Middletown, Ohio, two brothers, Earl and Carmie Taylor, Carlisle; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Neal and Mrs. Delsee Frazee, Middletown, Ohio and Mrs. Myrtle Trent of Jackson and seven grandchildren. Funeral services wre conducted on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Malaga Church of God by Rev. Jerry Taylor. Burial was in the Madden Cemetery with Porter and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
