Wolfe County News - Dec. 12, 1969 AUTO-CRASH KILLS CAMPTON MAN Funeral sevices were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, for Bobby Gene Alexander, 30 who was fatally injured Thursday afternoon near Seymour, Ind., when an auto apparentely traveling in the wrong lane rammed into a convoy of newly purchased cars which were being driven to Campton. He was a native of Wolfe County. He is survived by a daughter, Opal Charlene, Dayton, Ohio; his mother, Mrs. Laura Alexander, Campton; three brothers, Dean Alexander, H.C. Alexander, and Jackie Alexander, all of Campton; three sisters, Mrs. Faye Cox of Cold Springs, Ruth Hollon, and Sheila Alexander of Campton. Services were conducted by Rev. Dorothy Spencer at Bear Pen Mission Church. Burial was in the Evans Cemetery with Porter and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Carole
