Wolfe County News - Sept. 28, 1966 WOLFE NATIVE PASSES 24TH John Andrew Childers, 76 of 420 S. Main St., Winchester, died at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Guerrant Clinic after a long illness. He was a native of Wolfe County, and a member of the Winchester Lodge No. 20 F&AM. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Grace Nickell Childers, Winchester; three daughters, Mrs. Maurice Wilburn and Mrs. Dorothy Pongetti of Chicago, Ill. and Mrs. Alice Bush of Winchester; four brothers, Harlan Childers and Howard Childers of Cincinnati, Dave Childers of Youngstown, O., and Z.M. Childers of Lexington; several nieces and nephews, eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Edgington Funeral Home by Howard Sawyer. Burial was in the Winchester Cemetery. Carole
