Wolfe County News - Feb. 10, 1967 VALERIA WOMAN DIES AT HOME Mrs. Lillie Edith Linkous, 81, died at 11 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at her home at Valeria after a long illness. She was a native of Wolfe County and a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Junie Culbertson, Valeria, Mrs. Emma Hatton, Mt. Sterling, Mrs. Grace Ann Prince of New Richmond, O., Mrs. Girlie May Schmidt of Seaford, N.Y. and Mrs. Hettie Ethel Crase of Lee City; four sons, Louis Linkous of Germantown, Ohio, James Russell Linkous of Winchester, John Omer Linkous of Campton and Charlie Hobart Linkous of Valeria; two brothers, Able Lane of Hazel Green and Charles Lane of Valeria; two sisters, Mrs. Iva Bowman, Valeria, and Mrs. Vinnie Culbertson of Peru, Ind., 38 grandchildren, and 61 great grandchildren. Services were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at the Campton Baptist Church by Rev. Ray Cummins. Burial was in the Lane Cemetery at Valeria. Porter and Son Funeral Home in charge. Carole
