Wolfe County News - Nov. 25, 1964 JEFF BRYANT, 89 PASSES NOV. 17TH Jefferson Bryant, 69, died at his home suddenly Tuesday, Nov. 17, following a long illness. He was a member of the Church of God, a native of Wolfe County, and a coal miner and construction worker. He is survived by his wife, Lou Dema Bryant, Pine Ridge; a brother, Damon Bryant, Middletown, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Davis, Beattyville, and Mrs. Lula Wasson, Dayton, Ohio; three step sons, Omer Baker, Cincinnati, Burrell Baker, Cupertino, Calif; and Bill Baker, Rhinelanders, Wis., and two step daughters, Mrs. Ida Jewell, Lebanon, Ohio and Mrs. Ruth Brackett, South Lebanon, Ohio and a niece Mrs. Lillian Carroll, Pine Ridge. Services were conducted Friday, Nov. 20 at the Rogers Church of God with Rev. Omar Spencer officiating. Burial was in the Rogers Cemetery with Porter and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
