Wolfe County News - July 27, 1966 JOHN N. HURST, PASSES JULY 23 John N. Hurst, 89, Route 1, Campton, died Saturday, July 23 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lexington, after a short illness. He was a native of Wolfe County and a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors are three sons, Foster and General Taylor Hurst, Wolfe County, and John Kelly Hurst, Holton, Ind.; a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Lacy, West Liberty; two sisters, Mrs. Lilly Tutt, West Point, and Mrs. Fannie Amyx of Mission, Tex.; 12 grandchildren and a great grandchild. Services were conducted Tuesday at the Mud Lick Baptist Church, Simpson, by Rev. Ira Dunn. Burial was in the Hurst Cemetery. Porter and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Carole
