Wolfe County News - June 6, 1969 LEE CITY WOMAN PASSES JUNE 1ST Mrs. Ida Rose, 86, of Lee City died at 8 p.m. Sunday, June 1, at her home following a long illness. She was a native of Wolfe County and a member of the Church of God. Born Oct. 21, 1882, at Gillmore, she was a daughter of the late Andy and Nannie Vest Haddix. She was preceded in death by one son, Arnold Rose of Lee City. Survivors include her husband, J. Green Rose of Lee City; one daughter, Mrs. Edna Arnett of Cincinnati; one son, Eural Rose of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; three brothers, Rev. Menifee Haddix and Colby Haddix of Mt. Sterling and Howard Haddix of Paris; eight grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Funeral was conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Lee City Mission Church by Rev. Forest Bailey, Rev. Elmer Robinson, and Rev. Menifee Haddix. Burial was in the Arnold Rose Cemetery at Lee City under the direction of Herald and Stewart Funeral Home. Carole
