Charlotte Holland(my g-grandmother who is said to have had very red hair--I have red hair) was the dau. of Andrew Jackson Holland, Sr. b. 1817. Married Sarah "Sallie" Wright about 1837. She was dau. of Elisha Wright and Ann Chambers. Charlotte was one of 16 children born from 1838 to 1866. Charlotte was born in 1852. Andrew Jackson Holland, Sr. was the son of George Holland of Grayson Co., VA and Charity Brewer Maynard/Maines of NC. George Holland was the son of William Holland and that's as far back as I go on this line. Charlotte was my mother's grandmother. Hope this helps. Bess

I belong to this group of people too, but it was John Holland (Hollon) who was married to Charity Brewer. Andrew J. Hollon born April 14, 1817 was the younger brother of Rebecca Hollon who was married to Andrew Pence.
