Yes, Jo Ann, we do. My mother had a first cousin named William Carl and they usually called him Carl. He died a few years ago, and Mother went to his funeral or visitation. He lived up around Van Cleve and I believe he was a minister. I don't know who his father was. By the way, the George Faulkner who was my g-grandfather--his father's name was William. Bess

My maternal grandmother was the one who was the Faulkner.--Nancy Emmaline Faulkner. She married Alexander Jackson Taulbee. Her brother was Carl Faulkner. Van Cleve is in KY. On the border of Wolfe Co. going up toward Jackson, KY in Breathitt KY. Nancy and Carl's dad was George Faulkner and his father--the best I know--was William Faulkner who was supposed to have come to KY from TEnn. Bess
