Wolfe County News - March 26, 1958 MRS. BRANSON DIED MARCH 21 AT AGE OF 84 Mrs. Rebecca Branson, age 84 died March 21, at her home on Sandy Ridge. She is survived by three sons, Leonard Branson, Campton; Melvin Branson, Winchester; and Geo. Branson, Lost Creek, seven daughters; Mrs. Bell Fugate, Middletown, Ohio; Mrs. Anna Lucas, Buffalo, N.Y. Mrs. Junie Mae Duemont, Detroit, Mich; Mrs. Gladys Palmer, Tallage; Mrs. Orpha Spencer, Ravenna, Mrs. Dorothy Barnes, Glencoe, Mrs. Nannie Price, Lexington; and four brothers: Frank Lane, Cleveland, Ohio; Sam and Millard and Seldon Lane of Yosemite, and five sisters, Mrs. Belle Rayburn, Rothwell, Mrs. Alice Barnes, Miller's Creek; Mrs. Cora Stamper, Logansport, Ind; Mrs. Eddie Wells, Lexington and Mrs. Mary Pogue, Kings Mountain, also 64 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, March 25, at one p.m. at the B.F. Porter and Son Funeral Home, by the Rev. Marvin Wheeler. Burial was in the Branson cemetery on Sandy Ridge. Carole
