Wolfe County News - April 19, 1961 DRAKE FUNERAL IS SET FOR THURSDAY Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy Hanks Drake, 80 of 126 Johnston Boulevard, Lexington, willl be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home by the Rev. Steadman Bagby. Burial will be in the Lexington Cemetery. Mrs. Drake, mother of the late Elmer H. Drake, prominent Lexington attorney who died in 1956, was a native of Campton the widow of James Drake and the daughter of Boone and Mahala Taylor Hanks. She was a member of the First Methodist Church and the Kentucky Mountain Club. Her survivors inlcude three daughters, Mr. T.E. McMullin, Drexel Hlll, Pa., Mrs. J.H. Harper, Lexington, and Mrs. James R. Welch, Ft. Thomas; three brothers, C.M., Fred C. and Finley Hanks, all of Campton; a sister, Mrs. Van B. Elkins, Louisville; six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Drake died at 6 a.m. Monday at Baptist Rest Home, Newport, and the body was teken to the Dobbing Funeral Home in Ft. Thomas, where a brief service was conducted Tuesday. Carole
