Wolfe County News - Nov. 1963 CHESTER WHISMAN PASSES IN OHIO Chester Whisman, 62, died at his home, Middletown, Ohio, after a long illness. He was a native of Wolfe County and a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Martha Whisman, Middletown, Ohio; two sons, Osa R. Whisman, and Troy D. Whisman, both of Middletown, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Gladys Idiffer, Mrs. Marie Jackson and Mrs. Hattie Mae Donovan, Middletown, O., his mother, Mrs. Susie Whisman, Jeffersonville, Ky and a brother, Colonel Calvin Whisman, Campton and a sister, Mrs. Vernie Grass, Jeffersonville. Funeral service was held at the home of the sister, Mrs. Vernie Gross in Jefffersonville at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov., 9th. Burial was at Whisman Cemetery in Wolfe County with Rev.
