The death date on Hazel Linkous should have been June 16. Sorry I forgot to make that correction. I couldn't really read the date and it differed from the headlines, so I checked the death index and it should have been June 16. TROY LINKOUS PASSES JUNE 6TH Mrs. Hazel Stamper Linkous was born May 22, 1907, and passed away June 10, 1962 at her home at Maytown. She was a member of the church at Mize. She is survived by her husband, Troy and two sons, Otis of Maytown and Durl of Mize; four brothers, Reece Stamper, Campton, Joe and Oliver Stamper, Maytown, and Rawleigh Stamper, Pomeroyton, and one granddaughter, Diane Linkous and a host of relatives. Funeral services were conducted at Mize Church Monday, June 18, at one p.m. with Rev. Elmer Brown and Rev. Asa Gillespie officiating. Interment was in the family cemetery in Maytown.
