Wolfe County News - April 23, 1958 SAMUEL ROSE SUCCUMBS AT MALAGA HOME Samuel P. Rose, age 86 died at his home at Malaga, Saturday, April 10, at 5:30 p.m. He was a minister of the Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Rose, Malaga, two sons, Roy Rose, Malaga, and Charles Rose, Middletown, Ohio; and five daughters; Mrs. Jenny Girchfield?, Bainbridge, Ohio; Mrs. Florence Hampton, Mrs. Loma McCallister, Mrs. Tacket and Mrs. Lucy McCallister all of Middletown, Ohio; and one brother, Isaac Rose, Bridgeport, Ill. Three sisters, Mrs. Lula Wentworth, Burton, Kansas; Mrs. Rinda Elkins, Stonewall, Okla, and Dora Elkins, Campton. 26 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren. Services were held at the Rosedale Chruch at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, with the Reverend Noah Johnson officiating. Burial was in the Rose Cemetery on Stillwater near the church by B.F.
