Wolfe County News - Jan. 2, 1957 SHORT ILLNESS CLAIMS LIFE OF GEORGE BANKS George Banks age 48, died Saturday, December 22nd at the Good Samaritan Hospital after three weeks illness. He is survived by four brothers, Dorsie and Ben of Campton; Gobel of Middletown, O., and Elmer of the U.S. Army in Germany. Also one sister, Junie Banks, Dayton, O. Funeral was conducted Monday, December 24th at the Callaboose Church with Rev. C.C. Osborne officiating. Burial was in the Banks Cemetery in Callaboose under the direction of Hearne Funeral Home.
