Wolfe County News - Feb. 21, 1962 LIFELONG WOLFE RESIDENT PASSES John Howard Miller, 78 of Stillwater died in Good Samaritan Hospital, Lexington at 7:15 a.m. Monday, Feb. 19, following a short illness. He was a life-long resident of Wolfe county and member of the Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Maude Miller, one son, James H. Miller of Brighton, Mich., and one brother, Joe B. Miller of R.I. Campton; five sisters Mrs. Mary Combs, Campton, Mrs. Maude Collum of Campton, Mrs. Minnie Swope of Slade, Mrs. Fern Carroll, McLean, Ill., and Mrs. Ellie Miller of Campton and four grandchildren. Funeral sersvice was held at the residence at 1 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Powell of Bowen and Rev. Smith of Georgetown officiating. Burial was in the family cemetery near the home with Porter and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Carole
