Wolfe County News - March 1963 SARAH ROSE, 77 DIES MARCH 20 Mrs. Sarah Kathryn Rose, 77 died at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lexington, March 20, after a short illness. She was a retired school teacher and a member of the Campton Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Frank Rose of Campton, and Cecil Rose of Orlando, Fla., a foster daughter, Mrs. Fern Lambert, Cincinnati; two sisters, Miss Daisy Chambers, Lexington, and Mrs. R.C Wells, Baptist; one brother, Henry Clay Chambers, Campton; four grandchildren, Rita Lee Farmer, Atlanta, GA., Stanley and Tutt Lambert, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Bruce Jackson Rose, Lexington. Funeral conducted March 23 at the Campton Baptist Church by Rev. J. Edward Cunningham and Rev. T.W. Farmer. Burial in Evans cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Home in charge. Active pallbearers were Stanley Lambert, Tutt Lambert, Kash Swango, Emerson Wells, Albert Clay Chambers, Bill Rose. Honorary pallbearers Jesse Johnson, Jack Cable, Orville Booth, Buddy Brewer, Woodford Swango, Bill Adams, Tommy Cox and Charlie Harris. Carole
