Wolfe County News - Feb. 4, 1959 R.S. CHILDERS PASSES JAN. 25 Robert Seldon Childers, 46, died in Zaltimore, Maryland, Jan. 25. He was a member of the Methodist Church. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Retta Broughton, Campton; two daughters, Mrs. Sue Mugel, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Miss Loretta Childers also of Cincinnati; one brother, Mr. Henry Childers of Middletown, Ohio, and two grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at the B.F. Porter and Son Chapel, Campton, Thursday, Jan. 29 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Sewell Woodward and Rev. James Pinkley, Jr., officiating. Pallbearers were Orville Henry, Robert Broughton, Garrett Childers, John H. Petty, Edgar Spencer and Bert Tutt. Burial was in the Evans Cemetery with B.F.
