Wolfe County News - Feb. 2, 1958 EMERY P. ROSE DIES IN OHIO AT AGE of 53 Emery P. Rose, 53, died in Middletown, Ohio, January 31. Funeral services were conducted there on Sunday, Feb. 2, at the F.R. Baker and Sons. Funeral Home by the Rev. Henry Howard. Then the body was brought to Stillwater and funeral services were conducted at the Rosedale Baptist Church on Monday, Feb. 3, at one p.m. with Rev. Johnny Dalton officiating. Burial was in the Rose Cemetery at Stillwater. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Betty Dean Rose, Middletown, Ohio, two sons; William Rose of Texas and Tom Rose of Middletown, Ohio; two daughters, Miss Clara June Lukens, Middletown, Ohio and Miss Glenda Rose at home, Middletown, Ohio. Also his father Rev. Sam Rose, Stillwater and two brothers Charlie Rose, Middletown, Ohio and Roy Rose, Malaga, KY and five sisters, Mrs. Florence Hampton, Mrs. Loma McCallister and Mrs. Lucy McCallister all of Middletown, Ohio, Mrs. Junie Birchfield, Ohio and Mrs. Mary Tackett, California.
