Wolfe County News - April 1963 GEORGE HATTON CLAIMED HERE George Hatton, 67, Campton, died at his home at 3:30 a.m. Thursday, April 4, as a result of a heart attack. Native of Wolfe County and member of the Cox Lodge 464, F&AM, Campton, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruth Hatton; one daughter, Miss Jean Hatton, two sons, Ralph and Elmer, all of Campton; three brothers, Robert Hatton, Campton and Oscar Hatton, Rogers, Logan Hatton, Vortex, five grandchildren. Services were conducted at the Campton First Church of God Sunday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Thomas Walter and Rev. Johnny Dalton officiated. Burial was in the Evans Cemetery with Porter and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Carole
