Wolfe County News - Sept. 26, 1965 TOBIAS ROGERS DIES AT AGE 96 Tobias Rogers, 96, of Zachariah died at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27 at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Jess Ashley, at Nada. He was a member of Christian Chruch and a native of Estill County. Other survivors are his wife, Mrs. Liza Jane Rogers; two daughters, Mrs. John Baker of Adsison, Ohio and Mrs. Henry Spencer of Denver Col.; two sons, Coleman Rogers of Portland, Maine, and Bill Rogers of Grimesly, Tenn; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Huff of Jeffersonville and Mrs. Molly Abney of Stanton; 23 grandchildren and a number of great and great grandchildren. Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Adams Cemetery at Zachariah by Rev. Clayton Adams. Carole
