Wolfe County News - July 1961 EFFIE CREECH, 44, PASSES IN CAMPTON Mrs. Effie Creech, 44, died July 1 at her home in Campton following a long illness. She was a member of the Church of God. She is survived by her husband, Jack Creech; five daughters, Mrs. Mae White, Mrs. Janie Hollon and Mrs. Betty Luke, all of Campon, Mrs. Julia Stone of Artville and Mrs. William Pelfrey of Chillicothe, Ohio; 15 grandchildren, four brothers and two sisters. Funeral was held at the Church of God at 10 a.m. Monday, with Rev. Walter Strong officiating. Burial was in the Evans Cemetery with Shackelford and Cox Funeral Home in charge. Carole
