Wolfe County News - Oct. 1965 WOLFE WOMAN DIES IN OHIO Mrs. Vernie Dean Williams, 30 died Sept. 23 at Dayton, O., after a long illness. She was a native of Wolfe County. Survivors are her husband, Harold Williams, Dayton, Ohio, and one son Robert, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Henry Elkins of Bethany, two sisters, Mrs. Tom Rose, Dayton, O., Miss Christine Elkins, California, and one brother, Eugene Elkins, Middletown, Ohio. Funeral services were conducted on Sept. 27 at the Bethany Church. Burial was in Evans Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Home in charge. Carole
