Hi, John, Thanks for trying to help, but that Bruce Rose, son of Stephen Rose that you mentioned is a bro. to my great-grandfather, David Bowen Rose who married Mary Catherine Whisman--I mean David is a brother to Stephen. Bruce, Stephen's son, married (!) Katherine Chambers, and (2) Grace Bryant and the children's names are not the same either. But you are right in that they are in the same time frame. The Bruce Rose whom I have in my records was born in 1880 and was a 1st cousin to my grandfather, James Floyd Rose. This Bruce must be some kind of cousin too. Thanks, Bess
